Cute, quiet and small, we were pleased with the location and attentive staff. There is no restaurant on site but noted a coffee shop around the corner and appreciated the $15 gift card provided by the front desk to the Golden Bakery and Deli *(downtown, 3 min drive away) where we enjoyed a nice breakfast before continuing our travels. Would only note the property is starting to show some wear and need for repair which was disappointing at this price point.

We stayed here overnight while traveling and enjoyed our cool, quiet room. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful, recommending a nice riverfront restaurant for a late dinner and explaining all the hotel’s amenities. There was plenty of parking. We will definitely stay here again if we get an opportunity.

A beautiful log structure undergoing upgrades. Friendly staff, well maintained rooms, great outside deck and within easy walking distance of downtown Golden. There is no restaurant or breakfast on site is the only drawback, which is easily remedied. I highly recommend staying here if you appreciate a mountain lodge style setting.

We really enjoyed our one night stay in this lovely hotel. Log clad it sits facing the kicking Horse river and mountain. We had a split level mezzanine room, ideal for 3 travellers. Rooms don’t have that much storage space, but not an issue for us. Nice spacious lounge area downstairs and a sun terrace with excellent seating. The staff team were excellent and there was some really nice touches - free soft drink fridge and snacks. Although the hotel doesn’t serve meals you are given a $15 gift card for a local bakery. Would visit agsin without hesitation
