Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile and a welcome drink, checking went smoothly and we were in our wonderful room in no time. All the staff were helpful during our stay and we enjoyed the extensive and delicious breakfast, cocktails by the lagoon and dinner in the relaxed bar. Perfect for our stay and we will be back

Rooms are amazing. Comfy bed & fabulous faculties. The pool is fabulous where you snorkel fish & a waterfall. A water slide fabulous, plus a spa. Staff are so helpful for any request. Food is great, the cheese platter one of the best for arvo snack with wine

Fantastic hotel for a family holiday. Pool is fantastic and the rooms are great. As a family I also really appreciated the laundry was complimentary and so was the arcade. Special mention for the tamanyaki, that was a highlight. Location is also great for getting the tram around the GC

Positives: Outdoor swimming pool/artificial beach area is great. Gym is well equipped. Staff is super friendly. Breakfast quality. Can improve: Apart from breakfast, I found the food average and as almost everything in the hotel, expensive. The smoothies I got from Chapter & Verse were specially disappointing. Play court area could be better maintained.

Highly recommend. The pool is fantastic for kids with the sand to play in and there are communal sand toys if you forget your own. Pool bar is great for food and drinks. The hotel itself is beautiful and the onsite restaurants are fantastic. Highly recommend you book ahead for the teppanyaki restaurant and also the buffet night at the main restaurant. We will stay here again! The staff are also, all wonderful.

This place is fabulous. We were here only 2 nights but would stay again. Walking distance to beaches, park, the beach shops and restaurants, and even rental car (which we made use of). The lagoon is fun, though needing to rent snorkels seems excessive. There are fish in the lagoon but not THAT many. We decided just to swim and spot fish in the shallows. The caves are cool. The pool was closed for cleaning when we were there, so we didnt get to enjoy the slide or pool area in the cave, which looked awesome. We did not try the restaurants but they look very nice. Our balcony room was great. Awesome view of lagoon, city, and ocean. The little kitchen area was a definite bonus. The room was clean and well furnished. This was the second JW Mariott ive visited and they are both really cool.
