The hot tub was closed. This was supposed to be the special stay for my daughter’s birthday trip and we were looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub. Unfortunately there was no mention that it was not working.

The Pacific Reef Hotel was everything I was hoping for. Friendly staff, beautiful room (rocking chairs on deck are a nice touch), close to the beach, great light show, and comfortable beds.

The light show was entertaining and informative and the ocean vibe (view and sound of waves) enjoyable. However, the hot tub being out of service and general lack of friendliness from the front desk staff somewhat diminished the overall experience at the Pacific Reef Hotel and light show.

Pacific Reef #1 in my opinion.

Everything was top rate! Check in was seamless. The staff very friendly and efficient. Room was quiet and very comfortable. It overlooks the ocean and is a short walk to the beach. We had a wonderful stay.
