“Talalla Retreat is marketed as a serene oceanfront wellness escape. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with that image.
I prepaid for a Sea View Category Room. Upon arrival, I was shown to a room in a separate “new” building far from the sea, facing jungle greenery with a shared balcony. It did not reflect what most guests would reasonably expect from a sea view booking.

“Really positively suprised about our stay here. Reading reviews i did not have too high hopes but we reaaally loved the hotel! super clean and big rooms with aircon and hot shower. the service was top notch. would really reccommend if you want a hotel in hiriketiya. the location was also perfect, right by the beach and main square.”
