Wonderful and peaceful

Really nice and calm place with wonderful surrounding. We stayed in Drottning Kristinas room Wilhelm was lovely and had a lovely view! The only thing i missed was a bed side table.

Beautiful, historic property. Rooms were nice, dining area was very historic feeling, enjoyed a nice dinner and breakfast buffet the next morning was varied and high quality. Outdoor dining is available weather permitting, grounds are lovely. Loved all the photos and personal items around the home, it was nice to see previous owners and uses, I love history, so this was a real treat for me.

Nice stay. Be careful of the dominitrax receptionist with dark hair. She’s either constipated or just mean. Dinner was great but its fixe prix with only one choice. Better like it. We did.

Positivt: rymliga och frÀscha rum, och mkt god frukostbuffé. Negativt/bÀttringspotential: det var vÀldigt lugnt och lite gÀster pÄ anlÀggningen, men trots detta var servicen mkt lÄngsam. Vid incheckningen fanns inte personal pÄ plats sÄ vi fick vÀnta en bra stund. Och nÀr vi ville bestÀlla ngt att dricka i den kombinerade baren/receptionen fick vi, och andra sÀllskap, vÀnta vÀldigt lÀnge pÄ att personal kom trots att vi ringde pÄ klockan under 15 minuters tid. Middagen var överprissatt och inte sÀrskilt god, en i sÀllskapet blev ganska akut dÄlig i magen (gick snabbt över). Man marknadsför bad och biljard, men det gÄr inte att ens spela ett parti biljard utan extra avgifter!! Man marknadsför Àven bad utomhus men vattnet och framför allt bryggan var bland det Àckligaste vi sett. Gratis biljard, schack mm, samt uppfrÀschning av brygga skulle höja upplevelsen istÀllet för att ha kÀnts "nÀrigt".

JÀttefint stÀlle med fina omgivningar. Hade dock velat att att det funnits mer i SPA-delen, tex. uppvÀrm utomhuspool. Otydligt om utomhus-baljan var tillgÀnglig. Herrarnas omklÀdesrum höll pÄ att repareras, ett plus att gubben inte behövde betala för relaxdelen.

En vecka pÄ slottet

Det som jag tycker inte framgÄr Àr att, för den som har besvÀr att gÄ, Àr det lite sega uppförslutningar frÄn bilparkeringarna till receptionen (som Àr oskyltad frÄn parkeringarna. Ligger i huvudbyggnaden). MÄnga rum ligger i"paviljongerna" - ingen hiss ( 2 vÄningar). Fint lÀge och miljö, hann tyvÀrr inte utforska den. Trevlig personal. StÀd o byte av handdukar vaje dag. NÄn liten miss i stÀdningen; nÄn liten dammtuss blev kvar och en gÄng glömde man sÀtta skrÀppÄsar i papperskorgarna. MÀnskligt! Men: man mÄste ha en rutin att kolla och byta ut toaborstarna! Den pÄ mitt rum var ganska smutsig/Àcklig! Tror det var en hel del ny stÀdpersonal, kan ju förklara att det inte var perfekt. Rummet: saknade skrivbord. Gillade inte armaturen, sÄg ut som glödlampor. Snyggare/trevligare ljus med nÄn sorts skÀrm. Trevlig personal och fin miljö som sagt. Men priset tÄl verklgen att diskuteras !

Bra och skön övernattning med julbord

Bra och fina rum. Nyrenoverat 2023, frĂ€scht badrum med Molton Brown-tvĂ„lar, golvvĂ€rme, handduksvĂ€rmare, bra upplyst spegel, snyggt kaklat. SĂ€ngarna var bekvĂ€ma Ă€ven om huvudkuddarna kunde varit fastare och större. Ljudisolerade rum (iaf pĂ„ övervĂ„ningen). Grannrummet hade pĂ„ TV’n men vi hörde inget alls förrĂ€n vi gick ut i korridoren. Bra frukost med mĂ„nga laktosfria alternativ. Pröva vĂ„fflorna bland annat! 😋 Julbordet var fantastiskt bra, med jĂ€ttebra service dĂ€r man alltid gjorde det lilla extra för att man skulle fĂ„ bĂ€sta upplevelsen. MĂ„nga rĂ€tter med ingredienser frĂ„n omrĂ„det. Testa Sörmlandsmusten, supergod! 😋
