“Brand new hotel in a convenient location - easy walking distance to the station and the cathedral. Parking arrangements in the nearby Forum multi-storey worked well. Staff especially helpful while getting used to the new facility themselves. Quality of food excellent both at breakfast and for all-day dining in the ground floor open plan restaurant. Prices above average but value for money in terms of quality. We came here for the Three Choirs Festival and were pleased to find a good quality...

“Good clean room, air conditioning was welcome in the summer heat. It was a little further from the main town than I was expecting. The downsides are the internet is ridiculously slow and to get faster internet there’s an additional charge as was the 15 pound charge to check in early, which I understand if you were asking for an 8am check in but, to charge that much when you’re an hour early seems a bit money gouging.”

“Correcto. Está un poco aislado. Necesitas coche para desplazarte a la localidad más cercana.”

“Bed was lovely and comfortable. Room was very nice. Struggling to get in and out of the shower. Staff on the whole were lovely but felt there was an atmosphere of discontentment amongst staff. Food expensive with service charge added without giving us the opportunity to say no. Rats running around the skip outside. Needs a general paint job outside. Leaving on a positive the breakfast was lovely.”

“The room was ok, but very hot ane stuffy. There was a fan, but it didn't work very well at all. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great, the walls dirty with scuff marks.”

“Estuvimos en la habitación familiar para 4 y muy bien, con espacio suficiente. El desayuno bien también aunque se echaba de menos algo de mermelada. El servicio un poco lento pero majos. ”

“En general bien pero tuve el problema que de la regadera no salía el agua caliente! Solo de la tina así que imagínense el relajo para bañarse, el hotel limpio y lindo junto a un río aunque algo alejado de la zona de más interés. Tienes que tomar taxi a fuerza. El desayuno es lo mejor, delicioso y preparado por una señora lindisima y que cocina delicioso”

“Almost everything about this stay was excellent. I would say that some of the interior is in need of maintenance (sagging floors) and one bathroom was tight spacing. The parking was not available but we were able to get parking nearby.”
