Very nice spa. Lovely staff. The bathroom strongly smelled of bleach on arrival and the following day of damp. Food okay, perhaps trying too hard. Dog friendly only in that your dog can stay in your room- No bowl or bedding and not allowed into restaurant- so not truly dog friendly in my opinion.

I stayed for an event that was held at the hotel. From arrival the staff were friendly and very helpful. My room was clean and comfortable with everything i could need. Overall i couldn't have had a better stay.

We had only one issue- food that should have been hot was served very cool… three times. This included high risk food with prawns, fish and a broth which I sent back and which was returned very little warmer, and eggs Benedict in which the poached egg and the sauce were as cool as the fish dish… as if they’d been standing on a counter for at least 20 minutes. Worrying. I spoke with the restaurant manager before I left. All their staff were delightful!! The room, despite a big wedding party, was quiet overnight, parking was very easy.
The rest of the guests were clearly there to see these two tie the knot!!

Lovely setting and great hotel

Had a lovely few nights here. Breakfast was superb, service excellent and the spa was decent. We had an amazing massage when we first got there which really set the break up nicely. Would happily return

Lovely stau

We had a lovely stay at the Haverley. The Spa was a little busy in the afternoon but the hotel was full. The Thyme restaurant was lovely on the evening. Our room was beautiful and even though it was on the front of the hotel was quiet.

Nice property and a comfortable nights sleep. It’s a shame it appears they rely on extras to boost the price. Charging more for full English breakfast, and each dog staying seems a bit penny pinching when breakfast is stated as included. Appears cheaper when booking and then works out more expensive. Clever marketing that leaves guests not as catered for as you had hoped. That’s a shame as it’s a nice building situated in a nice area in a good location.
