It is a very nice hotel tucked in a quiet area. There are so many parks and activities nearby. The facilities are aging but still good.

The pool area was nice and clean and the room was large and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and the food in the restaurant was really nice and reasonably priced. A good distance from the costwolds makes a nice base. Parking is cheap and plentiful. A good stay. Would recommend.

Staff friendly and helpful. Our bedroom needed a USB socket and decor was clean but tired. The windows in our room had not been cleaned for a good time, whilst at the hotel entrance they were clean. Two seats in reception doorway were damaged giving a poor first impression. I feel that the £5 per night car park charge should be refunded for resident guests. Overall decor needs an update as it appears to show little or no recent investment in this hotel. Restaurant food was good and staff very helpful. The main reason we booked was to use the pool area which was adequate.

⭐⭐ Disappointing stay — facilities not worth the price Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my stay. The hotel feels very dated and considering the price, I expected a much better standard of accommodation and facilities. There were also several issues with the room. The ground-floor window would not lock, which was concerning from a security point of view. The shower-to-bath setting didn’t work, and the bathroom extractor fan could not be switched off. It was extremely loud and kept running throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. The spa facilities were a mixed experience. The sauna and steam room were good, but the pool looked dated and could have done with a proper clean. The hot tub pump wasn’t working properly either, which was disappointing. For the price being charged, I don’t feel the facilities are good enough. I was also unhappy about the £5 overnight parking charge — at this price point, I would expect parking to be included or at least clearly highlighted when booking. Another thing that should be made much clearer online is when guests are actually allowed to use the pool and spa facilities. This is important information when choosing and paying for a hotel, especially if access is restricted to certain times. Overall, there were some positives, particularly the sauna and steam room, but the hotel needs updating and better maintenance, and I don’t feel the overall experience represented good value for money.

Out of town location. Property needs a makeover. Carpets overdue for clean or replacement. Room otherwise clean but not serviced daily. Reception staff polite and helpful but don't present a confidence in their product. Overall impression was shabby. Breakfast by 830am was limted to remains of much earlier cooked food. Had to bring attention to staff the mould on bread for toast.

Friendly check in with Dylan and Aiden. Modern style hotel, very spacious. With a health club and spa which we didn’t have time to use but we could see people arriving to make use of. Good size restaurant and bar area. Menu a little limited for the restaurant but it was okay. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom clean although shower not very powerful. It was an overnight stop so more than okay for that. Staff were friendly and helpful.
