“Breakfast was among the best we’ve ever had. The staff paid attention to every detail. Eco friendly touches did not detract from comfort and convenience. Glenorchy was peaceful and quiet and a perfect antidote to ski days in Queenstown. One of my favorite spots was the covered outdoor fireplace savoring a hot chocolate or a whiskey on a freezing night. I live a long way from New Zealand, but hope to return at some point.”

“Very nice”

“Absolutely loved our stay at EcoScapes. The staff were welcoming and friendly, food in the cafe was delicious and the surroundings are stunning. Highly recommend!”

“We know it's an experience and we took the "Standard Cabin (Double)" room, but it was so small, the room was freezing and the door didn't close well. If you want to bath in the hot tub, you need to pay, if you need some tools or ingredients to cook something in the common room, you need to rent it. It's not as bad as other hotels, but if we had known it we would have paid for another option in Queenstown. ”

“We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. First thing u need to know is the 3rd bedroom downstairs has a single bed. This threw things out for us as our youngest didn't want to sleep downstairs on her own, so our giant teenager had to have a single bed while the younger child had a double bed all to themselves. Knowing the layout would have changed my decision. The downstairs of the villa was freezing, the air con wasn't working properly. How a property doesn't have proper heating in the NZ winter is...

“Beautiful private and modern lodge with walk-out balcony to the Remarkables mountain range directly in front. Very clean, easy to access lodge, well-maintained, parking right out in front as well. Great stay”
