Even though the reservation said it’s a Hampshire Camping Ground, there is no sign of it. The place is amazing, don’t take it the wrong way, however it’s advertising things that did not exist like a BBQ area. The shared kitchen is not well kept for the size of the camping, amount of people. With a little more love and investment the place can be the best in Wanaka.

Nice place but charge for every little thing. $10 to rent a kitchen package (plates, pots etc.). How bout $$10 refundable deposit. ( A surprise for travelers blowing through…. Where every other stop all was provided). Cabin was nice but no towels. Showers were $1 increasing to $2. Won’t come back here.
