Second time I have stayed here. Unique little hotel, on one floor of the station building, so very convenient for the train. Clean, comfortable rooms. Good facilities and very friendly, helpful staff. So, why did I only give it 4 stars? On my second stay my room was poorly

Spent only the night at this hotel but it had everything we needed for our stay - a prompt entry onto the premises from Glasgow Central Station by lift, light breakfast options and beverages for the morning, a wonderful and helpful team of staff, both in person and online, and a clean and tastefully decorated room with necessary amenities. 10/10 experience!

Room was very clean, felt new, staff super friendly, only downfall we came during a sunny wave and there was not fans, so we stayed hot, positive made us get out earlier than expected but they did hold our luggage. Very affordable!!

Really lovely stay- beds were comfy, great location and free breakfast was a welcome bonus. Given it's adjacent to the station, it was reasonably quiet and didn't impact sleep. Only improvements I would make would be to add some hooks for towels in the bathroom. I didn't have any issue finding the entrance but it's not all that clear.

The Address Wren is a quirky little hotel with some amazing plusses and a few downsides. The most amazing plus is the location. It is literally located adjacent to, and connected via a door to Glasgow Central railway station. Unfortunately, the hotel has no signage either in the train station or outside the building indicating this, and was difficult to find accordingly, even though it overlooks the station itself. This is probably due to the hotel opening three months prior and undergoing the requisite growing pains. The room was very nice and clean, and remarkably quiet considering the location. The hotel appears to occupy only one floor of a multistory building, and there are no other amenities accordingly, including a kitchen or pub, room service, a gym, pool, etc. and the Reception area is tiny and difficult to find. The staff was friendly and helpful, but a little nervous. Ironically, there was only one set of towels in the room at check-in, but again, growing pains. Overall, I would absolutely stay there again for the location to the station, but would love to see the final product a few months down the road after maturation of the staff and processes and with upgrades to the property in terms of amenities.

Hotel seems relatively new so our TV wasn't working, the WiFi was poor the bathrooms are small which is fine but unfortunately nowhere to hang your wet towel or to hang a hand towel while using it. There are no drawers to put your clothes in. But this can be easily fixed and the staff were amazing and so helpful. They even moved us to another room because we were wakened during the night because of outside noise (this was council workers at 4.00am) !!! so again cannot fault the staff , especially Jola she was wonderful .

The hotel is right beside Glasgow central station but due to union street being fixed the union street entrance is closed so you have to walk right round ten station to get to the property. It isn't very well sign posted but Scotrail staff are very helpful and able to show you were to go and what floor you need to go to. The hotel itself is brand new and is in the middle of being redecorated so there is a lot of workmen around but it is still very clean and welcoming. The girl on reception was extremely helpful, friendly and explained what was happening and was interested to hear why we were staying and what our plans were. The room was freshly decorated and and spotless. The only issue was that the bathroom door was very stiff and difficult to close and open as it stuck to the floor a lot. You had to tilt it back a little as it was a sliding door. We explained that to reception and they got someone to have a look. As the hotel is in the centre of Glasgow you have St Enoch shopping centre and Buchannan street a one minute walk away. There are plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants close by which is very handy. I would recommend staying there and will be back

Unfortunately our stay here wasn't the best. Firstly the roads round it are all closed off so finding the place was extremely difficult. It seems that I was sent an email to advise us that we would be offered a room in a sister hotel. I never recieved it so we turned up expecting to stay here. It took for ever to get there then the signs for the place are awful. In fairness to them it appears they have only just opened but this wasn't mentioned when I booked. Anyway instead of sending us to the sister hotel we were found a room which was clean and lovely bed but no coffee or tea facilities and no facilities such as food or bar in the place. The staff were all very nice did book as a cab for our theatre trip but as you cant get to the hotel we had to walk back down the road which as my partner finds walking difficult was becoming a problem. Our Ubur driver then dropped us off back at the shut bit so we had to do the whole walk again at 11pm at night. This is in no way the hotels fault but all very inconvenient. We did have a great night's sleep as bed is great. No breakfast so again had to go and find somewhere in the morning. Hopefully if we come again it will all be a bit smoother. We paid the advertised price which was probably a bit steep considering the circumstances.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a stunning location perfect if you have an early train because you can take the left down to the first floor and exit inside this train station. What let it down was nothing that could be helped I just think that maybe they had a date in mind to open and it wasn't quite finished. The restaurant wasn't open we had to go to the other hotel for breakfast. And the little grab and go station was full of goodies that you couldn't have because there was no price list. a lot of things seemed a bit silly like having to call to have someone to come and get you to let you in. not very obviously clear directions within the train station. I know that the hotel probably don't own the whole building but the lifts coming up and the stairwell of that building are in a horrendous state and definitely need updated and repaired. The room itself was nice however even though it was too single beds as we were sharing our room it was probably far too small for two people fine if it's a couple but friends sharing get your own rooms there's no lock on the bathroom it's just a sliding door. areas of the room looked to be slapped dash painted quickly there's also no refreshments in the room other than water so no tea and coffee station or kettle. The room as well as the hotel itself was uncomfortably warm and the windows don't open very wide there's no airflow. Seemingly teething issues for being so new but I would go back again after some time has passed.

Don't stay. The manager was good before we went gave us a free early check in which was great and she seemed lovely. Although I wouldn't stay again. Noise was unbearable from the works outside. The blind was broken so it wouldn't close no matter what way you pulled it so we couldnt get to sleep it was just stuck at the top of the window so full window view . There was off cuts from the wall panelling on the floor so couldn't have been thoroughly cleaned. When we got there we had to wait 15 to 20 minutes outside pressing the buzzer & trying to phone the hotel at the same time to get in and nobody answering the buzzer system or the phone then a member of the public was coming out so they let us in. Then the receptionist asked if we had been trying to call! The rooms were ok but no kettle or that very basic then we had breakfast included but Expedia dont advertise the fact you need to walk to the other hotel for your breakfast..that should be noted so you can make a decision to stay or not. Just a shambles.

Lovely brand new hotel. Good central location and very handy being at Central Train Station for getting the train to the Scottish Exhibition Centre. Good value with breakfast included. Currently have to walk to sister hotel up the road for breakfast. We didn't mind this as nice enough walk and not too far away. Very comfortable bed. Our only negative was not having tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. It wouldn't put us off staying here again.

The room was nice and the staff were friendly however the overall experience was ruined by some minor things that should have been fixed before we arrived: the electricity not working in our friends room, the bed sheets had a strange smell in our room, no TV remote in our room, a window which did not close, the hot water in our shower did not work and there was no bin in the room other than a small sanitary bin, the hotel itself was overly complicated to find and maps did not give us the correct directions to the hotel it took us an hour and a trip to the other address hotel to figure out where it was. We only stayed for one night so I am sure alot of these things could be rectified but for the price we payed and the name that it falls under it was a let down.

Trying to find the hotel is very difficult, no signage sticking out only flat on the wall. I was sent an email with directions, however, I didn’t see it as went to junk (not the hotels fault). Other guests I spoke to had the same issue. It might be worth adding directions on to the advert just incase people don’t see the email. On night 1 after dinner, suddenly all the lights went out and we had to move rooms, Staff took quick action and moved us to another room within 10 mins. The room was clean, although the door was dusty where they replaced the handle/key card swipe. The bottom of the toilet pan had sand/grit/stone in it. There are also no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. The rooms are not like the pictures which is misleading. On day 2, we returned to the hotel in the afternoon and our key weren’t working. We went down to reception and quickly re validated the key cards so we could access the room. On day 3, we came back to our room in the afternoon to but our feet up. There was constant banging on the walls, so hard it was shaking the walls from work being done. The rooms are very warm, the first one we stayed in had one window and you could open it by about 4 inches. The room we were moved too had 2 windows and both could be opened all the way. I do hope this was all just teething problems for the hotel, as its a handy location and the staff were friendly and helpful at what was clearly a stressful time.

We recently stayed here, on checkin we were made aware that it only opened 2 weeks ago. There was a strong smell of paint when you arrive, a grubby lift and access to the hotel isn’t great either, due to no fault of their own- there was recently a fire so union street has been closed. Bare this in mind if booking and don’t mind doing a lot of walking. The room was absolutely roasting, we complained and asked for a fan, which we were told none were available as they are due to be delivered in two weeks. You’d think this would be sorted before a hotel opening in summer? It got to bedtime and I couldn’t sleep due to the extreme heat, my husband went out and asked the receptionist for his fan as it was much cooler at reception than it was in the room, which he kindly gave us. Staff were friendly enough. No comments to ask how our stay was when we were checking out. Electrics in our room were out for a few hours too, we couldn’t use any lights.. it was day light so this wasn’t a massive issue! The room didn’t look too tidy, you could see wires above the bathroom which would have looked better if tidied away. We also had no toilet roll in our bathroom on our arrival, which is basic housekeeping. Would we come back? Probably not. Did not eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food.

The staff were lovely and the room was great. With union street being blocked off at the moment we found it hard to find, in the dark lighting outside could be a little brighter to highlight the signs at night but overall we really enjoyed our stay.
