Great vibe in this hotel. Staff were really friendly and they let me keep a bag in the staff area until check-in. Hip, fun and a little irreverent unconventional decor. Extensive breakfast for all types! Close to Queen St station and bus stops and restaurants. Would stay here again!

We were only there for a few hours but our stay was very comfortable. The only negative was the cost with all of the hotels in Glasgow profiteering because of the Commonwealths Games and pop concerts that weekend putting up there prices significantly.

Easy enough to walk to from Central and Queen St railway stations. Room clean with fresh towels and bedding as would be expected. A bit stingy on the allocation of teabags but this will probably only bother UK guests! En-suite facilities clean but not spotless. More attention required to shower gel, shampoo and conditioner bottles. Some of the silicone sealant needed renewal. We didn’t sample the breakfast or bar, there are plenty of places to eat out locally, including the chance to buy the classic Glaswegian deep fried Mars Bar.

Check in was very easy, clean and hip atmosphere. Room fan didn’t really clear out bathroom smells, no fridge, no facial tissue or a phone. We didn’t realize we had a handicapped accessible room until we got there, so the shower was open to the rest of the bathroom. Bathroom door was a slider and opened directly to master bed. The location of the hotel was easily found, parking next door in garage is discounted for guests. Located close to dining, shopping and coffee shops. Great value for a city stay but missing some of the little extra amenities you might be used to. However, they offered all guests a free welcome drink, with or without gin, food service until 1 am and very comfortable lobby lounge area.
