Absolutely charming rooms, full bath with massive tub, comfortable bed, quiet, peaceful, serene, romantic...with a restaurant and chef that were superb - and a very very friendly and accommodating staff
Attentive staff good food comfortable room
Good plentiful breakfast
Pleasant surroundings
Only downside no bathrobes
Even many cheaper hotels offer these as standard
What a great property! A beautiful country escape. Great food (and drink, especially in the charming Stable Bar), great staff, and great grounds. Highly recommended.
Beautiful property set in lovely grounds. Very clean and rooms were spacious, comfortable and quiet. Staff were brilliant with a personal touch. Breakfast cooked fresh no waiting at machines for toast.
Staff and customer service was brilliant. They were very engaging, friendly and supportive.
Food was delicious and great value for money.
Location and building stunning.
Lots of walking and running routes locally.
Fabulous hotel with friendly staff, clean, spacious comfortable rooms and good food. Highly recommended and such a treat compared to efficient but charmless chain hotels or charming hotels run by unprofessional amateurs. This place has got it right and I will be back again.
Perfect. Beautiful place. Amazing Staff ,Great food and very well priced. Couldn't ask for more. Been several times now and will continue to do so. 10/10
A lovely small independent hotel , free parking .
Great staff , who resolved issues very quickly .
The room was clean well furnished with modern bathroom. The location is very quiet
Our rate included a very good , cooked to order breakfast in its own room again with table linen. We ate in the main restaurant which is set within a very nice conservatory, with table cloths ! A good menu and the food we had was very tasty well presented and competitively priced. The hotel also has the cosy Stables Bar.
We stayed three nights and should we be in the area again we’d happily stay here again
I absolutely loved this place. The photos shown here are lovely, but don’t even do it justice- for me it was even better in person! The staff are very friendly, the grounds are beautiful, the dining rooms are so lovely, and the food was delicious!! The guest room was really spacious, the bathroom was like heaven!! (Deep soaker tub, separate shower, etc. all modern). I can’t rave enough about this place - I can’t wait to return one day! There’s al so a pub on-site - we were travelling with a little one so we didn’t go to the pub, but I’m sure it’s as great as the rest of the property!
Great last minute booking as we drove south from Inverness. Arrived late but great cheerful service from reception and in the Stable bar for an evening meal.
Wonderful, helpful, friendly staff. Beautiful and quiet location. We have stayed in many hotels in the area in the past and this is far and above the best! We loved it. It’s the only place we will come to in the future!
