The staff at the Carlton George were so friendly and helpful. Conner, Colin and Jordan gave great tips and advise.i arrived well before checkin, but they held my bags and offered good food/drink options. The hotel is literally steps from the Queen Street station so that was convenient. I would gladly stay here again!

The room was very nice, beautifully and stylishly renovated while in a historic building with a lot of charm. We loved the fact that there was a complimentary, complete well-stocked bar in the room along with snacks. Lovely hotel only 50 yards from Glasgow Queen Street Station (and 10 minute walk to Glasgow Central). Nice and friendly staff at reception, where I was able to leave my case in the morning whilst I enjoyed a day out. Nice big room with lovely firm mattress for a good nights sleep. Good aircon which was a must in this weather, and free minibar. Great shower. Good breakfast choice in the morning and with a view over the city. Next to Buchanan Street and the main shopping area but nice and quiet. Very good value for money.
