The hotel is very convenient for the train station. The room was ok apart from the carpet needing a good vacuum, a lot of dust build up in the low traffic areas. The floor tiles in the bathroom were all loose, but not a safety issue. For the price and location it is a reasonable place to stay.

Central location. Lots of parking options overnight though less so all day. Lots of pubs bars & restaurants locally. The staff were friendly and helpful. Some construction going on - the elevator was out of order when we were there - that made it a little less than perfect but it was good value.

Lift out of order and new carpet on the stairs was being laid so getting up and down stairs was awkward. Room very tired looking. No air con, room was hot and stuffy. Room was clean and tidy so ultimately stay was ok but didn’t feel it was value for money. Unlikely to stay again.
