“I found the Buck Inn to be adequate and comfortable for my overnight stay. The pub is old and in need of renovation, the staff were outstanding and friendly. The bed was comfortable and all linen clean. The all English breakfast was very good, well done.”

“The lady that greeted us was lovely and she then told us where our room was. We hoped to eat in the hotel but was told that the chef had called in unable to cook. I tried to find out if we could get breakfast next morning but nobody came back to us. Nobody told us how to exit the building in an emergency and when we left the next morning at 9.45 we had to let ourselves out and leave the keys on the bar having seen no one!
