Staff was friendly and accommodating. We came in very late and they made arrangements for us to get our room key quickly and without complications. The hotel is historic so it is not new but is well kept. The beach walk/ trail is fantastic with incredible views. Would recommend and would return.

We had a great stay one-night stay at the Gilleleje Badehotel just outside of the high season. Everything about the property feels premium. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. We opted to eat in the hotel dining room and the food prepared by Vik was exceptional. We’re talking perfectly seasoned and beautifully cooked European dishes with top-end restaurant presentation. The cost of the meal for two was equivalent to the board but was absolutely worth the price point. I couldn’t believe the whole service was produced by a single chef. Brits be warned there are no kettles in the rooms. Instead the hotel lays on coffee and sweet treats for guests to enjoy every afternoon. (You can get hot water from the kitchen at any time though.) The vibe at a badehotel (bathing hotel) is a cross between a BnB and a guesthouse. The average age skews slightly older but we enjoyed the more relaxed pace and communal atmosphere of the hotel. The sauna and steam room were an added bonus and the cosy lobby with log fire provided welcome respite from the rain. All the staff were really welcoming and attentive. Natalie went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed, offering great chat and plenty of advice on travel around the Danish Riviera. We would definitely come back again.

Virkeligt dejligt sted. Manglede badekÄber og klipklapper pÄ vÊrelset. Vi fik udleveret klipklapper og ekstra hÄndklÊder i receptionen, da vi efterspurgte det. De havde desvÊrre ikke flere badekÄber. BadevÊrelse pÄ vÊrelset var meget slidt. Middagen var skÞn, men tjenerne lidt uopmÊrksomme. Dampbad og sauna var dejligt. Dog kunne der godt vÊre mere fokus pÄ koldt vand, kopper og rengÞring i spa omrÄdet i hele Äbningstiden.

Flot sted med en fÞlelse af den gamle badehotel Änd stadig er til stede pga bevaringen af det flotte interiÞr. Dejligt roligt sted, imÞdekommende personale, flot udsigt fra hotellet og hvis man giver sig selv at gÄ langs kyststien bliver man belÞnnet med den fineste udsigt over havet.

Smuk gammel badehotel med en fantastisk hyggelig stue etage. Vi boede pÄ 1 sal hvor badehotel stemningen var manglende. VÊrelserne er egentligt ok, sengen behagelig og bruseren god. Men stemningen af gammel badehotel udebliver med vÊrelset grÄ farvede vÊgge. SÄ Êrgerligt at stemningen ikke er trukket med op pÄ vÊrelserne. Personalet som vi mÞdte virkeede en smule uengageret og smil var der ikke mange af. Morgenmads personalet kunne knap snakke engelsk og slet ikke Dansk. Vi fandt ud af det, men det pÄvirker helhedsindtrykket.

Rummet var fint men badrummet bedrövligt. Ingenstans att stÀlla necessÀr och annat. Efter dusch, vatten pÄ golvet. Skrapa saknades. Ingen tv eller radio. Priset var ÀndÄ vÀldigt högt. LÄngt till stranden och brygga. I infon stod inget om det. Det sas att det var egen nedgÄng till havet. För att kallas badhotell borde det vara nÀra till bad. Annars lÄg hotellet vÀldigt vackert. Underbar utsikt. Middag bra och frukosten helt Ok.

Badhotell utan ”bad”. Inga badrockar badtofflor etc. SvĂ„rt att ta sig ner till syenstranden nedan.. Rummet hade lĂ„ng standard, badrum frĂ„n 60-taler med Ă€cklig plastmatta och toalettstolen nĂ€stan i duschen. Duschmunstycke enbart fast monterat uppe. Ingen tv, ingen ac, ingen flĂ€kt, ingen minibar, underbemannat. Största problemet var temperaturen, gick ej sova, var svalt ute men rummen vĂ€rms upp av nĂ„got, tex restaurang, kylskĂ„p eller annat frĂ„n bottenvĂ„ning. Inget skohorn etc. Rekommenderar ingen att bo hĂ€r

Trevlig miljö, god mat men slitet rum.

Trevlig personal. Incheckning fungerade mycket bra. Slitet rum. Betalade extra för balkong med havsutsikt, men balkongen var minimal med ett slitet bord och tvÄ stolar. Badrummet mycket litet. Dörren tog i VC stolen. Duschdraperi till duschen. Saknade handdusch. VÄtrumsmatta med svarta flÀckar i duschen. SÀngen var helt ok och utrymme fanns att hÀnga upp klÀder. Frukosten var ok. Miljön trevlig. Vi Ät middag i hotellets restaurang; 3 rÀtters meny med tillhörande vin och var mycket nöjda med maten.
