Vacations Close To Gilbert Stuart Birthplace and Museum

Nice older hotel, but homeless are right outside the door. The front staff at the desk were 2 men who had absolutely no customer service skills. I asked about parking and he said, "I don't own a car, so I don't know." The hotel was clean and the beds and everything were nice. We did buy breakfast in the hotel and the staff in the restaurant connected to the hotel were exceptional! It's right downtown and the location to walk to places was great, you just have to literally dodge and walk around/through the homeless camped right outside the door.

Beautiful place and even more beautiful scenery

Overall the stay was average. The staff was very nice and the lobby was as well. The rooms could definitely use some updating -- the AC unit made a loud noise for a while once it was turned on, the water pressure was very low, and the TV went in/out a few times. The pool area was really nice!

It is ok place to stay. The room was clean but no closet. There is a pool, but there was only four lounge chairs, so there was no really place to lay down but again for Newport in the middle of August it was a decent price and place to stay and

Hotel is good and access to parking is tricky as parking lot and driveways around Bally’s Casino is very busy and confusing and signaling is poor.
