“Our room was well maintained and we like staying in unique, historic properties. A bath in the nook in front of the window seemed a little strange. We thought a sofa with a coffee table would be a more relaxing option after a day of sightseeing. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The state of the beer garden is a shame. It looked really run down albeit unique with a throne at one of the tables. If you struggle with mobility, the car park is between 5 - 10 mins walk away. Not a...

“Very basic rooms it was stifling but could open the window a bit and they did provide a fan breakfast was not great the cooked was microwaved , it was like the room basic ok for a one night stopover also very noisy throughout the night with traffic”

“Lovely little gem. Breakfast was a nice touch. Pub on site serves food and drink. Owners nice. BUT you should have a car if you are staying here. Getting a taxi can be difficult as it is away from main town. Definitely recommend staying here.”
