Vacations Close To Gettysburg National Military Park

The room was clean and comfortable. Everything was in order. I had to leave a $100 deposite that was used to enforce the no smoking policy. I hope i will get it back. At 7am nobody was able to inspect the room. I had to leave without documentation. Be aware there is a $12 parking fee in addition to the room charge.

What a disappointment. From the moment we checked in, I knew we should have gone somewhere else. The fella at the front desk was rude. When we got to the room, it was warm. The bathroom was filthy. Behind the door there was dust buildup - it looked like the door was opened but never cleaned behind. The air vents were filthy and hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The rear access door didn’t work. The pool was closed. Breakfast was sub-par. The eggs were runny, there was no place to get water, even the plastic ware was terrible. The knives were so flimsy you couldn’t cut the waffle. The muffins were half-frozen. They should spend more on maintaining and updating the property and less on signs telling guests what they cannot do - like “do not take the food out of the breakfast area” and “no liquids in the trash.” Even the booth chair was peeling, so they used one of the old bed runners to cover it up.

I asked for shuttle service due to Our flight delayed and would arrive after midnight. and I tried to cancel because car rental closed and no shuttle service but they refused. I realty needed to cancel

It was nice, but their staff really didn't provide a proper number of new towels when we were there multiple days and requested fresh towels. Other than that, the stay was wonderful. Very romantic and provided a great romantic getaway.
