“As long as you manage your expectations, Wiarton Willie’s is a perfectly fine place to stay for a night or two if you’re travelling through the area. The staff were friendly and our room was clean enough and comfortable for a short stay. It is definitely run down, dated, and the sheets, towels and overall finishes aren’t the highest quality, but for what we needed, it did the job. A big plus for us was that they allow dogs. “The staff was very helpful, she stayed up later for us to be able to check in late that day like around 10-11PM. The room itself is cleaner but the hallway, walls, entrance, lobby, all aren’t very clean. The smells are bad in the hallway but the room has thick walls so we didn’t smell anything inside”
