I cannot say enough about the staff at Macallister Terraces Hotel. When we arrived Sai was very kind and welcoming. He was very knowledgeable of the area and was able to recommend places to eat and visit. Sagor and Jame were always responsive to our needs and kep the property very neat and tidy. Anpa is the evening night clerk. He, too was very helpful and was able to suggest places to visit. Lastly, Liza. Liza ensured that all of our needs, no matter how slight, were met. The hotel itself is very clean and quiet. It is well placed in Georgetown. We were able to walk short distances to places to shop and a large variety of places to eat. The hawker stalls serve amazing food! There is char koay teow just down the street. I would stay at Macallister Terraces again-for the people, and the location.

Lovely hotel in good location

Location excellent for walking around and exploring. Room was huge and lovely - only problem is the rather steep stairs up to the room if you choose a twin bed room. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful and I would give 5 stars to them. The aircon was not cold enough even after setting 16C and strongest blower. A single card was provided so the electricity would cutoff when we left the room. Location was ok

100% book this place!! Was amazing from the moment we walked in. We were greeted with a complimentary drink by the amazing Liza. Liza was so helpful and went above and beyond for us. Informing us of the best places to visit etc. we were given an upgrade when we arrived which was amazing. The room was clean, modern, comfortable and the WiFi was strong. Great little hotel, very boutique focused, great street art throughout the lobby. Lisa the manager was extremely helpful and gave great advice on where to go and where to eat. Only downside was no bar or anywhere near by to go for a drink but saying there’s plenty of fabulous eateries very close. Would recommend if you want a small and quiet place to stay right in town.
