Room i choose was excellent, hotel restaurant staffs were very professional. And surprisingly there's a beautiful front desk staff that can speak my language too. Anyway no need to think if i go to Penang again, this is the only one hotel i would stay.

Outstanding hotel - truly excellent all around. Very clean and resourced. The room was huge with an ocean view - overall location was perfect. Most importantly the staff were notably helpful, friendly, professional and patient. Oh and there’s a fabulous night market right outside the door - great food choices!!!

The room was lovely, extremely comfortable bed and pillows, regular room service with cleaning, my only frustration was nobody on the desk spoke decent English, so the communication was difficult, also you couldn’t order a coffee until 11am which I thought was ridiculous as when I was heading out earlier of a morning it would have been nice to grab a take away coffee, and also they only have full cream milk, which I can’t have, so many people require either soy, almond or skim milk.. also when I enquired at the desk about accessing Netflix and YouTube for my tv in my room, I was advised you only have access link if you have a android mobile, and I have an I phone as alot of people do, I found this rather disappointing.. the area location on the beach was absolutely beautiful..

The service is amazing, everyone is welcoming and supportive. Locations is great. Cons: mold everywhere! The whole toilet is full of mold. Hot water pressure is bad, sometimes during the days there is no hot water at all. I’m not sure if the pump doesn’t have the capacity to work for high floors, or if they switch off the pump during sleeping hours, but it’s completely bad. The rooms needs more furniture or a better way to reduce the outside noise. You can hear everything happening in the next door rooms, in the upstairs room, and in the hall. The hotel clearly needs some conditioning.

The shower in my room was broken, the safe didn’t work, the refrigerator didn’t work, the lotion dispenser was empty. 33 floor building, 3 lifts, one of which was broken, and the staff use the guest lifts as well. On my third night the battery in my door gave out so I couldn’t get in my room-which meant two trips to the lobby from one of the top floors, at close to 11 pm. Once the door was fixed, for reasons I still don’t understand, a random staff person showed up and rang the door at 11:30 pm. I don’t know what language he spoke-it wasn’t Malay, Thai, Chinese, English or French. After trying all those I gave up and made him leave. On a more positive note the bed was comfortable. But the hotel overall needs attention to the basics, maintenance is shockingly bad.

Really enjoyed our 7 night stay here. The view over the ocean is outstanding. My only negative was the small fridge is not cold enough. You can’t get your drinks cold enough. Would stay here again.
