Fint boende utan så bra service

Vi hade köpt och fått bekräftat boende med stor frukost vilket vi inte fick. Vi möttes av en kvinna som vid två tillfällen när vi tog upp frågan hävdade att i deras bokning ingick det inte. Boendet har nyss bytt ägare och vi talade med en trevlig man och hans dotter som kom hem från en resa och de gick genast och började bada och leka i poolen med dotterns kompis trots att vi var gäster och låg vid poolen. Vi upplevde tyvärr överlag att det fanns en oerfarenhet av att driva ett boende gällande inställning och service. Internet fungerade inte på rummet vilket vi påpekade.

Immaculate accommodation, wonderful hosts.

Our stay could not have been better. The accommodation is fresh & clean & the bed extremely comfortable. Dawn & Stan go out of their way to make their guests feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend Edenwood & we hope to visit again in the future.

Stayed in Lemon Tree Cottage. As per pictures on the website. Room and bed comfortable. En suite bathroom with shower. Downstairs lounge cosy. Small and compact kitchen. Unit spotlessly clean. Overlooks well maintained garden. Peaceful and quiet. Lovely pool in front of main house. Delicious breakfast with lots of choices. Staff friendly and attentive.

Sehr nettes Apartement in ruhiger Lage

Sehr schönes Ambiente, ruhig in einer Sackgasse eines schönen Wohngebietes gelegen. Man konnte dort abends gefahrlos spazieren gehen. Beim Frühstück konnte zwischen englisch oder continental gewählt werden.Beides war sehr gut. Dawn und Heidi gaben gute Tips für Restaurants und Ausflüge. Einen Pool, in den man aufgrund der Größe gut schwimmen konnte, gibt´s auch. Wir waren für 3 Tage dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Unser Apartment "Lemontree" war voll ausgestattet, mit Kühschrank inc. Gefrierfach, Mikrowelle und Herd ausgestattet.

Rapport qualiter prix très correct

Petit B&B jolie et sympathique situer dans un quartier résidentiel plutôt calme, situer à 1h de Knysna ou de Oudshorn, 20mn de Wilderness. La chambre était très petite, la salle de bain était jolie et assez grande. Les personnes qui s'occupe du B&B sont très gentil et vous conseille sur les sorties, restaurant, etc... Et vous prépare un superbe petit déjeuner. Le tout pour un prix très correct.

Great Place.... If you can find it

The room we stayed in was very large and comfortable. There were only two drawbacks to this location. We really struggled to find it, there was no clear signage, if it weren't for our GPS (which took us to the wrong location frst), I am not sure how anyone would find it. The second issue was they had several cats and I am horribly allergic. If you have cat allergies, I would recommend you stay away. I do not recall being told there were cats and it was very hard for me.

OK, but would not go again...

The hosts are extremely friendly and try their best. But during our stay it was very loud , so many dogs barking all day. Breakfast very limited. Bed in Annex suite to small for two people if they are not S or M size. So although these look like minor things we would not book it again. Maybe other rooms are better.

It is really Eden!!

We are a retired French couple from Canada (Montreal) and traveled South Africa during 2 months renting 31 different lodgings. This one was #20. We had reserved the «Poppy» room at the RC of the main house. As we arrived, they upgraded us and gave us, for the same price, the cottage called «Lemon Tree». Wonderful!!! It is a 2 story cottage with the living space (living room, kitchen) at the RC and the room and bathroom at 2nd level. Flat screen cable TV with many channels, terrace with table and chairs on a nice garden, free WiFi, free parking, Very well equipped kitchen, big room with a lot of places to store your things and a balcony with stools, good bathroom, pool at the main house. We really enjoyed our short stay there.

My girlfriend and I had a two night stay at the Edenwood Guesthouse. We had a nice big and clean room called the Regency room. I had everything we needed. A few things disappointed us a bit. The location of the guesthouse is a bit far from everything - so you will need a car to get around. We had that and that was absolutely essential. Another thing was the cats. The owners of the guesthouse has cats. The cats were running into our room if they had the chance. Not a problem for us at all but some people might find that being a problem. Other than that the place was nice value for money. We enjoyed the breakfast and the nice advice on things to see in the area we got from the owners.

Lovely setting

Comfortable, pretty room set in lovely gardens and in a residential, quiet area but not far from shops and restaurants. Very good breakfast. Make sure your GPS find the right street as there is another road with the same name in a place called Pacaltsdorp.
