Probablement de type angevin malgré l'absence de portique d'entrée côté est. Il fut réutilisé comme remise à charrettes au 19ème siècle. Les vestiges d'un four à pain dans la chambre et d'un chambranle de porte témoignent de son utilisation par la ferme voisine. Des fouilles réalisées en 1940 on permis de retrouver de nombreux ossements ainsi que des silex taillés. Grès à sabals: Les grès à sabalites sont le témoin d'un climat tropical en Anjou. Les fossiles végétaux, feuilles de palmier sabalites de l’éocène (55- 33 millions d'années) figurent dans la formation dite des «grès à sabals».
