We had a wonderful stay at the Royal and would return back when visiting Geneva. Customer service was top notch from anyone we encountered. Tony went above and beyond during our stay, and his colleague Penelope was wonderful and very courteous too. The room was clean, spacious with all needed amenities for a family with young kids. This hotel has the perfect location. And the public transportation arrives at the front door. You have a grocery store right across the lobby and the common areas are perfect to drink a cocktail 🍹 there are plenty of restaurants found within walking distance. The Air conditioning in the room did not work too well but everything else was perfect! The staff was friendly and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location a few minutes walk from the central train station. Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Tram stop is directly out the front. Within minutes of booking, I received an email to download free transport around Geneva (boat, tram, train). This was really useful. Room was spacious and clean. Would stay again when next in Geneva.

When I raised this issue with a member of staff, I was told there was nothing they could do about it, which was disappointing. All the staff were warm, pleasant and efficient. We had an issue with a noisy neighbour room and it was dealt with immediately, and with a follow-up. A Nespresso coffee maker was offered and delivered to the room when we saw those pods in the housekeeping trolley. Breakfast was good, usual fare for a 4 star hotel, and many options.
