Wonderful hotel, excellent and efficient staff in the traditional Swiss manner: calm, unfussy hospitality. We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Royal in Geneva. The location is convenient, just steps from the main train station (Cornavin), and we loved the free public transport card that covered rides all the way to the airport, super handy for arrivals and early departures. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with high-quality bedding and nice robes that made relaxing easy. The front desk team was exceptionally helpful and friendly, always ready to assist. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for two more nights after our ski trip in the Alps. It was the perfect mix of convenience, comfort, and great value

Room was well proportioned and clean. Big bathroom with nice toiletries. Dressing gowns and slippers included. Plenty of tea and coffee. I did book a room with three single beds. This wasn’t available. So ended up with a double bed and a double sofa bed which took up most of the room space and I had to share a bed with my daughter. Not what we planned. Well placed for Cornavin and Pâquis-Môle. Tram stop literally outside and Lidl right downstairs if required
