The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff were helpful. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Jet d’eau and old town. The train station is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The only issue, I had was that the hotel advertises in room safes. Whilst this is true, it must be stressed that none of the safes in the room’s work. This was confirmed to myself by the hotel staff. Which is a disappointment especially if you wish to keep your valuables in the safe.

Hotel Churchill is in a great location, one block from Lake Geneva. It is an older Hotel, but was clean & the breakfasts were very good. The staff was very nice as well! The only problem we had was the lack of air conditioning, as promised in the advertisement of the hotel. We had to open the windows for cool air at night, & it was very hot during the day. The AC worked one night, for just half the night. They need to install a new system. If that is an issue for you, I would not recommend this Hotel.

We liked that it was located near high-end stores as well as other stores and souvenir shops. The food was delicious at the restaurants we ate at. We also liked being able to walk to grocery stores, breakfast places and the Jet d'eau. The travel card that they gave us helped us maneuver the bus, and water taxi schedules. We took the bus to the train station and spent a day in Gruyere. The staff was friendly and helpful. They also called a taxi for us at 4:15 a.m. the morning that we had to head to the airport. The room was very spacious and clean. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location. But difficult to access because of multiple construction around (similar to the rest of Geneva!). Very small elevator. Breakfast was limited but good. Staff were very nice. We tried to contact hotel via emails prior to arrival for a month re public transit ticket but they didn’t not respond. When I called them , they cannot find our Expedia reservation. I needed to contact Expedia to confirm our reservation. However, it was in place when we arrived We had to pay for our trip from airport to the hotel. They provided free public transit parking on our arrival upon request. You need to ask for it. It was not offered during check in. It was disappointing that air conditioning did not work during our stay for 4 days. It was a heat wave and I booked this hotel to have AC. Overall, it is a good 3 star hotel at the excellent location with difficulty to communicate prior to arrival.

Very nice hotel and great staff and great location! Just a block or two from Lake Geneva. Just be aware that the hotel has no sparking and street parking is impossible and garages are very expensive - park at Mont Blonc Garage on the bridge a few blocks away, that has the best deals.

Nice hotel near the south shore of the lake and the baby beach. Pretty basic and building works nearby were quite noisy but nice enough hotel. No coffee facilities in room but fridge with mini bar.

Good Value in Geneva

I thought this hotel was great. Walkable location, quiet, and good amenities. The vibe is perhaps a bit dated (stereotypical British? haha), but it was clean and the room and bathroom were nice and there was daily maid service, so I had a great stay here.
