Perfect location for a short stopover whilst in transit (arrived by train one day, left by ferry the next). The hotel is directly opposite the main railway station, Gdańsk Główny. Everything super clean, modern and well maintained. The immediate area is not great for eating out (other than fast food) and the menu of the hotel restaurant (Senso) was not particularly appealing. Breakfast, on the other hand, was outstanding. The start of the Old Town is about 10 minutes’ walk away.

Really liked our stay at the hotel. The best Scandic we have ever stayed specially when comparing the quality with Swedish scandic hotels. Staff was extremely helpful and rooms where quite spacious.

A lovely hotel. The front desk was super helpful and friendly. They even supplied us with enormous breakfast bags when our tour caused us to leave early before the included breakfast opened. AC worked well and the hotel is located near many sights and dining. I would highly recommend and would stay there again!

Really nice large hotel, great breakfast and nice outdoor patio. Friendly staff, easy check in and check out process. There is a parking structure directly next to the hotel with good rates and secure. The location is directly across the street from the main train station, walkable to the old town and main tourist areas in Gdansk and a 10 minute walk from an amazing shopping mall.

Best location in town for TRAIN travel, across that beautiful rail station. Both of our beds were comfortable, bathing facilities gorgeous, very nice soft towels. We had our dinner upon arrival & both enjoyed. All of my future travels to Gdansk will include Scandic Hotel.

I am used to work in my hotel room. Unfortunately lighting was too dark. The room made me sleepy and working was too difficult. Also in this price level room I am expecting body lotion or same kind products. Not just shampoo and soap. Anyway breakfast good, the hotel was very well located. Anyway very good choice

We stayed at Scandic Gdansk for three nights and overall had a good experience, but I wouldn’t rate it as a 4-star hotel, especially compared to the Scandic standards we know from Denmark. The breakfast was decent, featuring a good quality of food, though it became repetitive over our stay. The tea and coffee selection was nice, and I appreciated that there were allergen alternatives available. However, the setup was not quite as appealing as shown in the pictures. On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently located close to the train station and the city center, making it easy to walk to various attractions. One downside was that you have to request room cleanup, which was a bit unexpected. Overall, while the stay was fine, there are some areas for improvement. It’s a decent option for a visit to Gdansk, but I wouldn’t say it meets the expectations of a 4-star experience.
