Very charming place! Older hotel, but rooms nicely renovated with rustic country decor. Very quiet, but close to all the activities. Enjoyed watching bears from the balcony. Saw several bears this week. Loved the view of the creek.

The front desk staff were very friendly and gave lots of tips about the area. The room was spacious, and the bed comfortable. The view from the balcony was beautiful, but we couldn't stay out because someone nearby was always smoking. We did not try the breakfast as we planned to go out for pancakes. The decor needs an update, but it was an ok value.

Breakfast is ok, scrambled eggs and sausage, pancakes ,coffee and cereals, yogurt and milk, muffins and baggels . No tea or toast . Property is well maintained for a mountain lodge, the stream right behind is a plus, very pretty. Overall was a good deal for the price especially since has free parking

I love That the staff here was extremely friendly at Check in! It was great being given the information about the trolley and how easy it made it to get to downtown instead of stressing about traffic and parking!! It was also my birthday.And before I could say anything, they wished me happy birthday! The attention to details was great!

On the ride to Kuwohi (Clingmans Dome) we saw so many people pulled over along the stream to take pictures. I had the stream right outside my room. We went to bed each night looking at the embers glowing in the fireplace and listening to the water.

The property was perfect. Wonderful atmosphere with balcony and stream flowing. Nice rooms. Great breakfast. My husband needed to go to hospital and the staff was very accommodating. Will definitely stay again and tell our friends.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room had a balcony facing Roaring Fork so it was nice to go out and sit and relax. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok, we only ate there one morning, we went to eat other places the remainder of our trip. We did have a few bears pass through while we were staying there which was a cool experience. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was close but not to close with the trolley stop just out front of the hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. They had a complimentary breakfast that was decent.
