When we got there to check-in, sign on door saying we had to go check-in at another hotel in order to get our room keys. We finally get in the room, it is so outdated, water pressure in the tiny pink bathroom was a joke. The floor had pieces missing, the beds were ok. The cleaning lady was very nice. We stayed 4 nights & it was definitely not worth the money!
For the price of this room ($250+ and way overpriced in hindsight), it was not even close to being worth it. The room was so sticky and dirty we did not feel comfortable taking a shower in the bathroom in the one night we were there. The tv remote didn’t work and when we tried to turn the tv on manually, it was extremely sticky. Not wanting to touch the unknown goop, we couldn’t watch anything. The floor’s laminate tiles were also too sticky to walk on. The bathroom door was also moldy and half rotten at the bottom. The beds were on metal frames that would make a grinding metal sound every time you moved. The pillows (if you could call them that) were tiny bags of polyester fluff that went flat even stack up with all three per bed.
The picture shown on the sight is nothing like the room. Bait and Switch.
The girl at check in was very nice though. Only positive experience at this hotel.

Most of these reviews are a little less than fair
Took the grand kids to Gatlinburg. This motel was economical at $125.00 for a 3 night stay. I booked it. Then I read the reviews. I tried to cancel it and couldn't. No cancelation available. We were leary but the motel turned out to be fine. It is older. It does need additional renovation. It was clean. The beds were comfortable. It is super convenient for walking down town. You have to check in at Howard Johnsons just down the street. The evening crew was rude to the guests checking in front of me. However those guests were complaining and decided to leave. She was curt but courteous to me. The day shift people were awesome! Very helpful and nice. My room looked like the pictures. A little sparse and the tiles were green not pink. #206. I would go back here. This is NOT going to be the place for a picky person or someone looking for a 4 star experience. It is the place for someone looking to sleep well and be close to downtown Gatlinburg at a super reasonable price. Note: No elevator, stairs only for 2 levels. It isn't accessible.
I've stayed here previously so there were no surprises. Walkable to downtown Gatlinburg. Comfortable beds. Neighbors were a bit loud at times, but they turned in early just like me.
Have stayed there many times. Convenient to downtown.
The room we were assigned to was under repair. Filthy. They did put us in another decent room, although the hot water was merely tepid. We will never stay there again.

Fine for price
It was clean. But under construction. Had to check in at motel down the hill. Not to bad for price though
Location was awesome , walking distance to downtown ..
Around the property was trashy , dumpster near by , woke up at 5:30 road beside of room ,hear traffic all night long ..tub cracked , felt like you were falling thru .. awful for Gatlinburg. Beware ... New owner clean it up !!!
FOR THE PRICE...
It was 'fine.'
However, expect knocks on the door from strangers, water not working during the day and no one at the front desk... ever.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
You get what you pay for. The room was clean, except for the sticky floor, but the facilities are very old and worn. The best that could be said is functional and clean. Convenient location, but the HoJo next door is every bit as convenient and looked much nicer.
