The desk staff was awesome. Some minor outdoor issues with older broken down chairs that need removed or replaced. The location was great. Close to town but still out of the hustle and bustle. The calming creek area was fabulous and enjoyed by us each day. Would definitely return there to stay

My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night stay here. This place was great for the price. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the river. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and worked for our needs. The room appears outdated, however had floors that were not carpeted which we prefer. We did utilize the pool one day and it was clean and comfortable- not crowded. If we return to the area we will stay here again.

Been to Gatlinburg many times and never seen a bear. Stayed here and saw bears, raccoons, chipmunks and even fish in the creek! Loads of parking spaces, a swimming pool and lots of chairs out to spend a lazy evening next to the creek. Not too far from the shops and restaurants, will definately stay here again!

We stayed one night in the honeymoon cottage. A last minute get away with my husband. It was so cute. The prefect little cottage. It was very clean and overlooks the river. We will def stay here again.

Many hotels in Gatlinburg have balconies over a creek, but no access to the creek. This one has balconies which look over Roaring Fork, AND they have a picnic area that fronts the creek, with BBQ grills and fire pits. Fire wood is available for a nominal fee. It's GREAT to be able to go sit right beside the creek, relax, and listen to the water rushing by. There are cabins and regular motel rooms available. We were in a room. It was nice and clean, looked to have been build in the mid to late 60s, and has been updated with new plank flooring. The water took a few moments to get hot, but was plenty hot when it arrived. We had a microwave and mini fridge with a separate freezer. Worked great. The TV was a little small for the room, but was a nice Vizio, with Direct TV. No streaming though. AC/ Heater worked very well. No elevator, but there were ADA ramps to the three floors in our building. A typical hotel cart was available. The VERY BEST part was, bears are not strangers to the picnic area. We had a close encounter with one, and it was absolutely NOT threatening at all. Clearly, use common sense; don't feed them, stay clear of them, and keep the vehicle and room locked. But being able to watch them wander around when they do come was really a treat. There is a Flapjack, Papa Johns, and BBQ place in close walking distance. The free trolly runs right on the main road which is one block away. Bank is right next to the property. We'll go back next trip.

The room was very clean and comfortable we enjoyed staying there the balcony overlooks a small stream and we walked down to it and they had chairs and tables set up with fire pit and grill we will stay there again next year
