“This place is a real gem. Double room at rear of Inn away from main road, Bed very comfortable - lovely bedding. Bathroom very good/clean - would benefit from somewhere to put down toiletry bags etc. beautiful huge white fluffy towels provided. Shower would also benefit from somewhere to put down toiletries etc. Restaurant excellent, lovely ambiance, food plentiful and very good although chips a little too crispy. “An amazing stay in a great location. Debbie made us feel truly welcome and the welcome pack of tea, milk etc was a lovely touch. Wasn't sure about a wood fired hot tub before I tried it, but was amazed how hot it got in such a short time. Converted. Great local area for visiting, some shopping and food and drink. Cannot recommend highly enough.”

“The Lion Inn was a last minute booking but it did not disappoint. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was served hot. The breakfast was cooked to order and was a great welsh breakfast. The rooms were cosy but with a boutique hotel theme. Public areas were clean there was parking available with tables outside.
