The views of the lake were nice from the balcony, breakfast was fine however they double charged me for my stay. I paid Expedia for three nights and the hotel still charged me for three nights. Breathtaking views, beautiful architecture, and a stunning lobby make this a very welcoming place to stay. I was truly impressed by the appearance of the hotel—it is elegant, beautifully designed, and blends perfectly with the surrounding rainforest. The room was clean and comfortable, and the restaurant experience was excellent. The swimming pool is fantastic—beautiful, relaxing, and a wonderful place to unwind after a day of exploring. The items sold on the property, such as tours, bottled water, and gifts, were fairly expensive, but that's common for resort hotels and did not take away from our experience. I personally really enjoyed staying here and would happily return. By the way, don't forget to visit the hotel's library. It feels like something straight out of Harry Potter!

This is a wonderful “back to nature” experience. It is in the rainforest - expect rainforest conditions. The staff here are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The property is in an amazing location but needs a little updating while I appreciate that there is constant moisture in the air, some areas could be updated / painted and maintained a little better. Our stay here was still wonderful regardless.

Gamboa Rainforest Reserve was an excellent place to stay and experience the wonders of the rainforest in Panama. Rooms were very clean and had all amenities as advertised. Pool was an excellent oasis after walks or fishing on the lake. Meals and customer service were also very good and many options were available.

This was my second time staying here. I really love this place! The views are fantastic. I shot this bird from my balcony! There's great birding along the property's trails and in surrounding areas such as Las Chungas, just down the road. And of course, Pipeline Rd., one of the best birding locations in the world, is only 5 minutes away. The large room was very clean and attended to, and most comfortable.

The little restaurant opposite the buffet is really nice, the staff is wonderful! The food is better than the buffet, but a very limited menu, I would suggest a choice of the day to add diversity. No other good restaurants in the neighborhood of the hotel.

Beautiful location in hear of rainforest overlooking the Gatun Lake and river system. Very happy that I paid for a room with a "river view." Lovely staff ready to help make your stay wonderful. Very comfortable, excellent food and views. Don’t miss the beautiful Biblioteca (library) above the lobby. It’s a cool place to escape from heat and sun, hang out to read or play cards, and take in the really interesting history and photos of early Gamboa and canal construction. I also really appreciated the efforts the hotel makes to go green.
