Pool was awesome.Villa was beautiful. We couldn’t enjoy the waterpark because it was closed for most of our stay. I wish we would have known this before booking.

Clean room. Helpful, knowledgeable and courteous staff. Starbucks was open. Many shops, stores and restaurants nearby. Great Asian takeout located in the Florida Mall. Ample parking.

I had a confirmed reservation at Aloft Orlando Lake Buena Vista through Expedia. My pregnant wife and I arrived at approximately 11:30 PM, expecting to check in and rest. Instead, the front desk informed us that they did not have a room for us, despite our confirmed reservation. We were told to go to the hotel next door and were assured it was associated with the same company and that nothing would change. Unfortunately, once we got there, we were required to pay more than the price of our original reservation. What made this especially upsetting was being put in this situation so late at night while traveling with my pregnant wife. We had done everything correctly—we booked in advance, had a confirmed reservation, and arrived expecting the hotel to honor it. Instead, we were left scrambling for accommodations and paying additional money because the hotel could not provide the room it had confirmed. A confirmed hotel reservation should mean something. At the very minimum, I expected Aloft/Marriott to take responsibility, honor the original price, and make the relocation as seamless as possible. Very frustrating and disappointing experience. I would think twice before relying on a reservation at this property.
