Very Good

We had such a wonderful time here! A little bit odd at first as there are no physical workers everything is done through a check in screen at the front but a very beautiful property a 7 minute walk from the town center. Very clean and easy to access the train station, bus station and all meeting spots for tours to the Cliffs of Moher/Connemara!
Good location for walking to city center. room was clean and amenities good. summer heat made the room a bit stuffy. worked fine for 3 of us to share. no parking provided

Disliked: Staff & service
Although we asked to have trash removed and clean towels three days into our 5 day stay, and although they said they would, it didn’t happen. The room was nice, quiet and convenient.
We really enjoyed our stay at Woodquay Townhouse in Galway. It was very clean, updated and cozy. The staffless checkin went very smoothly. We were given clear concise directions prior to arrival on how to get into the property and then once inside we were able to follow the touchscreen directions on how to get our key. It was an extremely easy process. The hotel was located in a great spot and a public parking lot ($10 per day) was very close. My only concern with this hotel is that once we arrived in Galway we had two questions for the staff. I sent them two messages and no one ever replied or got back to us with help. Other then that it was a great place to stay.
The place was clean and comfortable and the ear plugs were a nice touch. It would be helpful to have a shelf in shower to hold personal shower products and a shelf at small sink for tooth brush etc. enjoyed stay.
Self check in. No staff onsite. very convenient location to stores, restaurants and activities. Room very clean and modern. Well kept. Great place to stay.
Very clean and tidy stay near the center of Galway. We were able to self check-in with no problems and the property features the best of both worlds, hotel and Airbnb. The concierge was very helpful via WhatsApp.
the self-check in and out was easy to do via a kiosk.
the place had some nice restaurants within walking distance. it was also easy to walk down to the main sites.
the only problem with not having a person on site is not getting problems resolved. we were having problems connecting to the internet we tried multiple times trying to connect. when we tried reaching out to them i could not get my WhatsApp to respond. and when trying to call it just rang and couldn't leave a voice message. i tried reach out to the through the Expedia app where we had communicated previously. i just go an AI message and that i would get a response within their next available hours. which they never did. we ended up not having any internet service during our stay.
Beautiful room with brand new everything —room amenities were all thought through and never felt like we were missing anything. Such a pleasant stay with convenient parking and so close to the popular Latin quarter to enjoy Galway’s thriving nightlife! Thanks for a wonderful time!

Great location. Easy check in.
Cosy cute room.
But, when we checked in, while it was clean it smelled really badly as if it had been cleaned with smelly mop/cloth. Once we opened the windows and aired out the room it was fine in a few hours.
Our room wasn’t re-made after the first night. We didn’t get fresh towels, so small things tk improve on.
As checking in the room key machine would not work we stood there for a half hour even longer trying to call the support phone no one would answer we finally got a hold of them and we did end up getting our key but it’s not worth standing around waiting that long after a long road trip down, the room was a little cold and there was so way to change the temperature and found a small bug in the bed, it’s in a good area and didn’t get too loud tho that’s the good thing about staying here
I had a very comfortable stay at The Woodquay Townhouse. Upon my arrival I did meet Liam who was extremely kind and helpful. There isn't concierge service, but if you do get to meet a staff member, they are lovely. Everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the room was lovely. It's not central, which I found to be a plus as it can get very noisy downtown. It takes about 10-20 minutes to walk to the city-center.
Tricky check-in that needed internet access, no A/C, no parking, uncomfortable beds, did not feel safe, no amenities. Close walk to town. No hotel staff on site. Overall dissatisfied with the stay - the online info was misleading and omitted info. Would not recommend unless you have no other option for a place to stay.
Very near the city centre, very new, clean and with stylish interieur. Easy Check-in, coffee machine, hot water boiler, smart tv, fast wifi, many plug sockets and lights. One if our best accomodation during our trip.
The only things I have to "complain" about is that an aircondition would be great (they installed an fan, but that's not the same) and I would place more hooks for the towels (the ones on the bathroom door couldn't stand wet towels and broke down. Please check this for another solution). A small towel for each guest would be comfortable as well. These "complains" are just to make it even better.
I really hope you can keep this accomodation as clean as it is now, especially the hidden corners in the bathroom and the shower.
The good and the bad about this property.
No reception. No luggage storage.
Two stories and no lift so you carry your luggage up steps. No air conditioning which means you need to sleep with open windows. Property on very noisy street. Loud cars and neighboring bars. Personally I did not sleep at all.
On a positive note the facility is new and very clean. We called to ask questions and staff was very nice. Location is central to bars shopping restaurants.
This was an unorthodox accommodation. It’s not a hotel but rather a collection of hotel style rooms in a building near Galway City Center. There is no onsite staff but rather an off site call center, which had responsive staff. There is no onsite parking but rather nearby street parking. Our room had windows facing a busy street, so we constantly heard cars driving by and pedestrians talking to each other through the night, which made things quite noisy. The location is great and the room itself was clean but we would not stay here again. It had the feel of a high end hostel that charged hotel prices. I feel bad writing this because the staff at the call center was nice and responsive, but I would not recommend this place.
This place was in a good location. All the room items were up to date and looked great. The only challenge was the tv satellite antenna did not work (we were trying to watch the World Cup games) and the image came in distorted and mostly it said the connection wasn’t good. The floor heater was also locked and so we couldn’t turn on the heater. Check in was a little difficult and the machine wouldn’t let us check in. Luckily a manger happened to be in the building and helped us get the machine to work.
Couldn’t fault this hotel! Great location within walking distance of the centre, really clean and modern and had everything needed for a short trip! Would highly recommend!
