We loved our stay at The Residence Inn. The room was perfect. There was food right next door. It was quiet at night, even though we were over a pub. The mural on the wall was strange but definitely a unique room! Easy access to the village, shopping and public transportation. Paid parking was right next door. We would stay again!

Right from the start, we had a great experience! Our room wasn’t ready but the host held our bags and then gave us a coupon for a free beer at Fitzsimmons! Amazing! Location was PERFECT! Right where the action is! But be warned, the mornings on Quay Street and busy and loud!!!!! Street cleaning and vendors are out early to the pubs and shops! The room was very clean and was just big enough for 3 men plus luggage! Highly recommend!

Great location. Parking next door at Spanish Arch parking garage.., turns were tight to get up to upper levels. Short walk to hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Windows worked great to block the noise from the street…. But the bars below and across the street were lots of fun. The gin bar at The Front Door around the corner was fabulous. Loved our stay in Galway.

The hotel is in a great location. Room was nice and bed was comfortable. We asked for mini fridge which helped too. Others have complained in reviews about the noise, but it wasn't any worse than other cities we've stayed in. We put the Dyson fan they provided on high to help with the noise. Only issue we had was with the room service. They skipped us 1 day even though we had the sign on the door requesting room service. Then the next day they selectively made up the room, meaning they didn't replace the empty soap caniste or provide more toilet paper, and left an empty bottle in the middle of the foor. The front desk attendant was very responsive and ran down to get us the items right away. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Galway

Everything was great. The front desk staff were very polite and helpful. The room was clean. The only negative was parking offsite and hauling luggage to the hotel but that was stipulated upfront and the hotel did validate the parking fees.

Staff was great. Refreshed the room each night without requesting. Great restaurant/bar attached and in the exciting and vibrant Latin Quarter. 8 min walk to the train station. Please note, my star ratings reflect a European hotel in an old quarter where everything is a bit minimalized, so if you are thinking American 5 star standards, it's not the same, so adjust your expectations to where you are. Would stay there again in a heart beat and recommend to family and friends. Last note is it can be a bit noisy late if you are a light sleeper.

This hotel is centrally located right on the strip so you are close to all of the fun. Our room faced away from the street and was 2 flights up from the bar downstairs which was great as it was quiet when we went to bed. The missing amenities are really AC and options for breakfast but there are plenty of places to eat on the street. Parking can also be an issue but they have multiple places that can be used but you may need to walk. AC would have been great as we were there during a heat wave but I assume if we had been there any other time of year then this would not have been an issue. The did provide 2 fans which we used both nights we were there.
