Great location to City Center. Offsite parking was convenient at a reasonable cost. Lounge on each floor with kitchen is a good place to spend some time rather than in your room.

This place was a hit with my group of friends who were looking for a clean, well priced, central place to stay in Galway City during the busy Arts Festival. It was more stylish than expected, with very good communal areas.

Property is very clean and very new. Park at the train station down the street for 7€/day. Room is a bit on the small side for two people, but if you're looking for a place to drop your bags and sleep, its a great place.

Clean comfortable new rooms. Bed a bit soft. Good views of Galway bay from the kitchen areas. Couldnt be closer to Rail and Bus in Eyre Square 2 mins away. Nightlife and Shops close but no noise at night.

Excellent location. 5 minute walk from everything (train station, Aran Island Ferry, Cliffs of Moher pickup location, Eyre Square). Rooftop access is nice. But bring your own toiletries. It is a dorm room.I would stay here again.

Queens Place exceeded our expectations. The rooms aren't particularly spacious but the whole place was extremely clean. All the staff were very friendly and organised our check-in so that my son and grandson would be in the same 'apartment' as us. Each apartment had a fully equipped kitchen where we could cook and relax. I'm not sure I could stay here for more than a couple of nights, based on the size of the room, but I would definitely book again if in the area. Oh, and the location was very central.

Rooms are small but nice. Bathroom was beautiful and very clean. The bed was not the most comfortable, more springs then cushion. Besides that location was perfect. Right by the train station and few mins from all the popular things in Galway. Also each section on each floor had a shared section to cook and relax if needed. Nice touch.

The room was exactly as shown in the photos and in a great, convenient location. The city itself is quite small, so everything is easy to get to. What I didn’t appreciate was the noise level in the building. The guests in the unit above ours were making a lot of noise until around 3:00 AM. I informed the building staff, and they spoke to them, which reduced the noise, but it was still disruptive. Those guests had trashed the shared space.

This student accommodation has just opened. Everything is new and there is still construction dust which will take time to clear. Rooms are compact, with not much ventilation as some rooms have windows that open slightly facing buildings and others with aircons with windows that don’t open. It is close to Eyre square, shopping outlets, public transport to and from the airport with both bus and train stations within a 7 min walk. Good for a few days of budget travel.

Check in was easy and staff was friendly. The room has no air circulation and no fan for hotter days. We had to keep the window open to get air but then it was light in the room and the birds don't stop so we got very little sleep. No tv. Only 2 pillows would've liked to have 2 more. The lobby was nice though. These are reasons I rated it so low. More for younger crowd who just need a bed to sleep in and could pass out anywhere.

It was definitely designed for wheelchair bound people. It was extremely accessible. It was brand new and clean. Safe. Downside, it’s like a prison. You have to scan your key every five feet with a new door. No tv. Only one pillow. No table in bathroom to put your stuff as well as it’s an open shower nonsense where the water just goes everywhere. It literally flooded out of the bathroom into the room at one point. No lid on toilet. No parking anywhere close. Hint; park at the train station. It’s a solid no frills stay.

Great Location, Good Value Great location for getting around Galway—conveniently close to the train station, ferry, and downtown core. Overall, it was a good stay. The accommodations have a bit of a student-residence feel, with a small room and a shared kitchen for each floor. The rooms can be quite warm, and it can get noisy—especially on weekends or if you need to open the window. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the staff and cleanliness were both very good. Our room wasn’t quite ready at the official check-in time, but it was ready shortly afterward, so the delay was minimal.

This was a great find. The room was small but clean - it looked new. There was a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and TV area on the floor that was spotless. I never saw anyone in there. The block was quiet and secure but close to everything. It was a little pricey but I chose the Galway racing festival to stay without realising so the entire city was booked out - it would be worth checking the dates if you want to avoid crowds!! There’s a very clean laundry area on site, free tea and coffee and they will loan you a hairdryer. I highly recommend this place, perfect for a solo traveler. I would definitely book again!

This is not a hotel room. It's more like a dorm and when we got there we were told that is what it was designed to be. I really loved the shared kitchen but the rooms were tiny and the beds were so hard and the linens so scratchy that there was no way to get a good nights sleep! For a college student with their own linens and a nice bed topper this would work, but they charged hotel prices for a dorm. Lots of money was spent on amenities so those are nice and location is perfect right by train station and in the middle of town but hotel prices for a dorm that was really rough sleeping is why this gets a mediocre review.
