“The main reason for my 2 star rating was the unacceptable noise at night. Sounded like a immersion heater or similar going beserk. It was like trying to sleep next to a jet engine. I was in room 2. I left very early as it was so bad, I just couldn't stand the noise. The hotel wasn't too bad, but ifyou can't sleep what's the point of staying? Not recommended. I'm glad it was only one night.”

“The hotel is only about a year old so the building and all the fittings and furniture are in as-new condition. The staff were all cheerful and a delight to work with. The food was good both breakfast and the evening meals.
The location right on the foreshore is attractive with lovely views of the sunrise but it is well away from the centre of Torquay. When I arrived Google maps had the location 300 metres too close to the main part of Torquay so you need to check this before setting a route.”

“The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location close to the seafront, the pier, the harbour, the parks, pubs, restaurants, souvenir shops, steam railway, train and bus station made it the perfect place to stay for a seaside holiday.
I only ordered the breakfast, not evening meals, the dining room was nice and the food was very good. I recommend it.”

“The hotel provides good value accomodation, and has superb sea views. The breakfast was excellent, and the room was comfortable. Free parking was available.”

“Nice accomadation only minutes from the beach. Our room was small so I would recommend maybe having one with a balcony, We had breakfast on the last day which was nice. Plenty of other beaches or towns easily reachable by walking or train so although parking was slightly limited it's not really an issue.”
