The property is a great Route 66 stop. Very interesting history, decor, and vibe. If time ask the historian on property for extra information; nice person. The property was very nicely restored and the restaurant served good meals.

Interesting, iconic property with lots of history. Fun to stay there once, but incredibly small rooms and bathrooms, an antique elevator, no A/C and the room was 77 degrees which meant opening the windows with no screens and dealing with loud trains all night.

What a great hotel. We were just passing through and looking for a hotel on our way to the Grand Canyon, and happened to stumble upon this amazing piece of Americana. If you're even remotely nostalgic, or interested in route 66 or the history of 50s Westward expansion, it was 10 out of 10. You'll make minor sacrifices (at least to the snooty lot I travel with), like a small shower, but the traffic noise is lower than most modern hotels, the place is super clean and all in all, I loved it and the kids thought it was a blast.
