We have stayed here several times and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The hotel has an old fashioned charm, unlike the large chain hotels. The location is very convenient to downtown Gainesville and I-985 to Atlanta. When our grandchildren are with us, they love the pool.

It was clean..... Pros..... cost.. location... pool.. ice... Cons... hair dryer caught fire, someone had smoked in the room (they did come spray with deoderizer since they where booked and couldnt swap rooms) Breakfast was behind the counter and had to tell staff what you wanted....

I travel frequently for business and can afford to spend $150–$200 a night when necessary. But when I’m traveling alone, I prefer to find places that are clean, comfortable, locally owned, and reasonably priced. As a business owner, I look at it this way: every dollar I save on unnecessary travel expenses ultimately adds to the company’s profit at the end of the year. This place fits the bill perfectly. The rooms appear to have been recently remodeled, everything was clean and well maintained, and the beds were extremely comfortable. For the price, I think it offers excellent value, and I would definitely stay here again. I fully recommend it.
