I remember this property when I was a kid it was abandoned and falling apart. WOW what a transformation beautiful hotel in a quiet spot, they kept all original structure and stone restored, the staff was amazing and caring like I have never seen before A must hotel for you too stay on your next stay in Fundao 10/10 I would give it a higher rating if I could

Extremely clean property. Staff were extremely helpful from the moment we walked in. They get your bags, and load them to your room. Easy and quick check in. Complimentary drink before you get to the room. The place smelt like heaven. Not sure what that fragrance was going on in the building, but it was divine.

This is a great hotel. A conversion of a former convent which has been really well done. My only reservation was that I did not feel the dining experience was '5 star'. The food was fine, but not excellent, although this in no way spoiled our stay. The staff were lovely and could not be more helpful. A very interesting part of Portugal and a great place to stay.

We would have given this property a top rating (5/5) for the beautifully renovated convent buildings, nice room, beautiful bar and dining area in the former chapel, excellent fine dining etc. Our bedroom had a smoke detector above the bed, however, which blinked throughout the night and affected the quality of our sleep.

The hotel was absolutely amazing. Friendly staff, quiet location and very clean. My only remark is we stayed for a week and we would have liked a bit more variety at the breakfast buffet as every day it was the same food. It was excellent, but the same.

Only one night but would have liked to stay longer. Very good restaurant and the staff were friendly and thoughtful. Large and well laid out rooms. We’ll appointed spa and easy parking. VGG&T.

Un lugar agradable para desconectar

Un hotel muy agradable, la piscina es muy bonita y el spa estupendo. Tiene un bar restaurante muy bonito con un servicio super profesional. El lugar es perfecto para desconectar y descansar. Por poner una pega las ventanas de la habitación eran muy muy pequeñas lo que daba sensación de claustrofobia y no invitaba a paaar tiempo en la habitación y a pesar de alojarnos en una suite no tenía bañera.
