Great hotel. Short bus into Funchal. Staff very good at their positions. Stayed in suite on 10th floor with great views. Negative is no sandy beach. There is a risky climb down stairs to large rocks and a strong water current. Buffet had great choices and desserts are highlight of meals.

The property itself was very nice and in a convenient location. The food was actually very good (only tried the buffet) and we really loved the 24h parking garage. The resort accommodates too many guests for its size. The pool was full at all times of the day and there were soo many kids! Great for families but I would skip if you are traveling with a partner or solo.

Really nice stay, staff were great and good value for money. We had a room that went straight onto the pool side which was great. The only thing I think let's it down slightly (this is me being picky) is the food. It was good but not great in comparison to other places we've been.Think the hotel is better described as 4+ star. We loved how peaceful the hotel was and in a lovely area.

The food at this hotel makes up for all the shortcomings! Obsessed with buffet food and Italian restaurant was great too. The only downsides of this hotel are the only two small elevators for the whole hotel and lack of entertainment. Other than that spa is good, massage is amazing. The covered pool is everything. Overall recommend this hotel
