ALOJAMENTO CENTRAL 2 Is a good option for anyone looking for a budget friendly lodging which is clean, spacious, and centrally located. The roof top patio where breakfast offers great view of the City, Some reviewers suggested that noise was an issue. This reviewer did not experience any excessive noise.

The name Central says it all. It’s in the heart of Funchal, super close to all cathedrals, parks, museums, theater, and pick up place for all the tours around the island in addition to the waterfront promenade. Has rooftop veranda convenient to have gorgeous 360 degrees views, especially during New Year’s fireworks. The stuff is very helpful, breakfast is decent. I would give more stars, if not for old furniture, not crisp bedding, towels and smell in the room.

Good city centre budget hotel.

We were very impressed with this budget hotel. The amenities were basic but perfectly adequate and value for money. The location was ideal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. For the price we would certainly recommend this hotel.

Please listen to other travellers' reviews even outside expedia. The only 2 good aspects were that the staff were friendly and the tv had many programs in various languages (though it's in a separate room from the beds room). HOWEVER, that's about it. The bed have bedbugs and I've got bitten by them during night and there's also the possibility of taking them home in the bags. The breakfast is very poor. Moreover, you have to ask for toilet paper at the reception, the towels are not changed and even if there is a problem they don't repear it. The tap at the shower was not working properly but even though they said they will get it repaired not even after 3 days. Not very clean either. No privacy without the courtain and even with the windows closed it's very noisy. So even though they are nice, there are serious health concerns that should stop you from choosing this place even if you are a minimalist. Giving 2 stars for kind staff and tv, but should be 1 star really.

What we booked is not what was given, as described on the website the room would come with a kitchenette and seating area and it felt like we was given a room that was unfit for purpose. We arrived to our room and opened the door that did not have a very secure door handle/lock and walked into the "sperate living area" that was empty and sparse with one chair and a TV on the wall, no kitchenette area or any sockets you could plug into, as the only power point in the room was high on the wall that the TV was plugged into, so I'm uncertain how a kitchentte could of been installed into here as no services and it felt like the room was changed into a bookable room at last minute and must of been used as just a large store room in the past. you then go into the bedroom which is separate and the bed lining seemed old and had a stale smell to it. The curtains in the bedroom were stained, and the beds very hard. and they did not seem to care, staff just checked you in and did jot really acknowledge it's clients at the reception desk, non existent customer service. The only positive was the room was clean

C’était assez propre et confortable au niveau de la chambre. Relativement au wifi, il se déconnecte toutes les 20-30min, il faut donc le reconnecter à chaque fois ce qui fini par être un peu embêtant, utiliser votre 4G/5G si possible.

Rum för 2 med bara en stol

Betalade extra för kök..det fanns ingen spis, och när vi kom dit blev vi upplysta om att det var förbjudet att laga mat på rummet. Vi hade dubbelrum, men fanns bara en stoll (som dessutom var trasig). Varmvatten fanns oftast inte, och aldrig varmvatten på morgonen. Mycket störande oväsen om nätterna, hemmasnickrade sängar med ojämna ben.
