Elegant and functional hotel, great location

Impecable hotel centrally located a few minutes from Hakata station. Hotel is elegant, friendly staff and the room was well equipped, super clean and comfortable. Lots of dining and shopping choices in the hotel and in the surrounding area.

An excellent hotel

We had an excellent 3-night stay here during the sakura blossom time. The room was spacious, which accommodated with twin beds, sofa and a coffee table. The toilet was spacious. Everything was clean. We loved to stay here because we could feel the quietness here, the lobby, the restaurants, etc. The staff were great and helpful. Those who had served us spoke excellent English. The location of the hotel is very close to the hakata gate, a more peaceful side of the Hakata Station. It was very convenient to take both buses and trains just a few meters away from the hotel. Points of interests are also close by within 15 minutes walking distance. Nikko hotel would be our first choice when we come to Fukuoka again.

I had the best hospitality experience during my trip to Japan. From the moment I arrived by taxi, a male staff greeted me very politely, took my luggage, and a female staff also personally carried it to my room while explaining everything in detail kindly. Throughout the entire stay, their kindness, courtesy, and refined manners truly impressed me. After check-out, they kindly kept my luggage, and a male staff member who spoke Korean fluently even asked first if I would like him to call an Uber — which I really appreciated. The room was exceptionally clean, completely dust-free, and very spacious. The bathroom was also spotless, with perfect hot water and strong water pressure. This hotel’s level of service was on a completely different class. It was by far the most courteous and outstanding service and facility I experienced during my trip to Japan. I will definitely stay at Hotel Nikko again when I return to Fukuoka.
