This park is famous for its gorgeous Azaleas in early summer late spring. Check Fukui websites for details when they are having the Azalea festival. This park also has a great fitness center with a large pool and an outdoor track. They also have a small zoo for kids. You can see the lesser red panda there!

This place is called sunset beach for a reason. Gorgeous sunsets can be seen here all summer long. In Early August they have the Mikuni Fireworks Festival which is the largest fireworks show in Hokuriku. The summer time they also have a bar set up on the beach every night that serves indonesian food and drinks. This beach is popular with the local surf crowd. If there is any wave at all there will definitely be surfers out in the water. #goldenhour
