Vacations Close To Front Beach

There is a lot of potential for a very nice hotel and grounds, but 1987 was a long time ago. I understand blending with nature but grounds are unkept. Exposed electric wires along the walkways. Very tall weeds and grass around trees and post. The Lake House is totally overgrown with weeds and vines the back deck is overgrown and rotted. The room is well designed and quality materials, but has not been touched since the 80’s. Water takes 5 minutes to get warm. The a/c unit located in the closet sounded strained. The filter was so dirty it was being pulled up into the system. I killed 20 centipedes inside the room over two days and pill bugs roamed the bathroom area. There is great potential but will require work to reach. Could be a hidden masterpiece but appears to be forgotten by the owners. I would have loved to seen it when it was managed properly.

We cannot say enough about our stay at the Emeline. The entire staff was exceptional - anything we needed, they were there to help. We will absolutely return!!

We had a great time. Staff was very nice. The $50 dollar early check was not our favorite. But overall very cute. Totally great for girl trips.

Love this property. Do your self a favor and make sure you stay long enough to enjoy all that it has to offer.

The hotel itself was very nice. My favorite was the pool area. Although I would have enjoyed a cabana, they aren't your traditional cabanas. No sofas, fridges,TV, more loke a tent. Service at the pool.was slow and only one person taking care of everyone. Food wasn't m a deposited and had to be delivered whatever you ordered. No vending machines in our hotel, you had to go to their sister hotel next door for a soda . For being a 4 star hotel i.expected better in house amenities.
