Housekeeping is upon request only. You must ask for housekeeping or even fresh towels. No complimentary breakfast. There is a breakfast buffet for $15 per person. I choose to purchase a cup of coffee and a pastry at the kiosk next to the front desk for $8. Coffee was very good. Free refill. Indoor pool closed at 9:00 pm. Wished it was open a bit later. Outdoor pool closed at 10:00 pm. We stayed mid-week in the middle of August. Weather was hot. Hotel was about 20% full at most. Mainly forest firefighters and construction crews. We were there to visit a friend and Sequoia National Park. Enjoyed our stay. Probably the best hotel choice in Visalia.

We had our family reunion that weekend. We hold it every Labor Day weekend. Most of our family stayed there. It would have been nice to have one more table in the pool area and a few more chairs. One weird thing, we were in room 127. It got cold in our room, so my wife turned the AC off. It was off all day. We turned it back on when we returned many hours later. We it started running, the fan made a loud noise while we were trying to sleep. We then turned it off again and asked for a fan. The next morning when we were leaving for day two, the noise came back. When we returned to the room many hours later, it was much quieter. By the time we got back from the pool that evening, it was quiet again. Lesson: don't turn off the AC. Maybe this is normal? I dont know. Just a friendly FYI.
