DO NOT STAY HERE!! I should have read the reviews. I only looked at the star rating. I don’t know who in their right mind would give this place a 5 star, but I can tell you they have terrible judgement. I don’t consider myself picky at all. Unfortunately, my standards are high enough that I consider this place dirty! The dust pan was left in the corner, still full of dirt, trash and hair from the previous guests. There were cobwebs, the TV didn’t work (there wasn’t even a remote!) and the AC didn’t work...even though we only turned it down one degree per hour, as instructed. WTH?? We were roasting. There is no property manager on site and when we called to have things fixed we were told the guy already left for the night. So we left too. We drove 3 hours to get there, were there for 4 hours, and drove 3 hours home. We paid for 2 nights but just totally abandoned our trip. Oh, and it’s NOT on the river. You walk to the river through old construction debris, weeds and trash. I should have known when we were checking in and heard the housekeeper tell the desk clerk that “Cabins 3 and 4 still looked pretty good from yesterday” and then told me to grab a jug of water for my coffee. Just find somewhere else. You’ll be much happier.

It was a nice place to stay. Very close to sequoia and has water access in the back. Although I wish it didn’t have so many weeds to walk thru.

SLEEPING IN YOUR CAR WOULD BE BETTER!! Where to even start...we arrive and was told that Expidea double booked our cabin so we were not going to have a place to stay. With no service and a car full of kids we sit in the parking lot on the WiFi trying to find someplace. After 30 minutes and no luck they run out and tell us they have a cancellation, amazing!! The hotel managers were kind and concerned for our group so I was very grateful thinking we were going to have a place to lay our heads. Than we arrive in the cabin..beds had hair and cigarette burns on the one sheet left on them. The shower had the floor missing where my son nearly cut his foot open. The air didn’t work and the room was about 85 degrees. The toilet would flush and literally spray water all over the bathroom each time. We had no service to reach the property managers so we drove up to find they were closed. We attempted to tough out the night. Once the heat hit so hard we all were up throughout the entire night. We would wake up and find roaches all over everything once a light was turned on. We walked outside to find our cabin neighbors in the same exact situation pondering what to do. We decided to pack up and leave as soon as light hit. Please do not support a place who is not even utilizing the exaggerated room fees to make safety improvements for guests. Not asking for anything out of the ordinary...maybe at least a working toilet and a shower we won’t get hurt on?

I did not like how the maintenance man invaded me and my JUST ENGAGED fiancé’s privacy by listening by our door after leaving when we asked him to fix the tv. We were mislead by the pictures online because it was not a cabin, it was a very small room with cracked walls and cobwebs. The maintenance man, whose name I believe was Chad, had many calls for not working appliances and was sarcastic with us and told us to leave when we said we would like to know how to get a refund. We just got engaged and wanted to enjoy our night but instead we ended up leaving because we were not going to stay in a room the man had a key to, who already walked in listening to our conversation, and we were not going to stay when the air conditioner did not work when it was over ninety degrees in there. We were mislead and treated wrongly.

I loved it the cabin was nice the staff was nice the water was beautiful. The only thing I didn't like is that the riverbed had a bunch of overgrown grass and weeds it would've been super nice if there was a nice clean path or trail to the water and maybe some benches closer to the water like in the pictures.
