Very nice cozy place. Exactly advertised.

I had to haul luggage up 2 flights of stairs into a room without a lock on the inside. There was a gap of about an inch intern the top of the door and where it is supposed to seal against the door frame, basically allowing noise and light in from the hall. The AC kept shutting off all night and the breakfast area was unusable due to a major leaking ceiling from the rain in the evening before. Huge hole in the ceiling with water just dripping everywhere. Super 8 would have been a better choice and much less money. Don’t book

The curtains in my room were broken and would not close. (I checked in at 11:00 p.m.) The very nice maintenance man tried several fixes but ultimately shoved the chair against the curtains to keep them as closed as possible. The first thing he said when he walked in the room was that they shouldn't have rented me a room with broken curtains. While he was coming and going trying different things, I called the front desk to see if anything else could be done or I could get a different room. She said no, they didn't have any others of my room type. The next day the front desk man said they had been sold out and basically acted like I should feel lucky that I got a room at all. He kept saying all the different solutions they couldn't do like comp my room or offer a discount on another stay. He was so condescending and unhelpful. He said that they could have possibly done more if I hadn't booked through a 3rd party. Also, the only amenity in the room was one bar of soap. The shower amenities (larger containers mounted in the shower) were either missing or empty. Housekeeping was standing there and said they were having a hard time with their supplier and they were having to ration out the what they have. So apparently I lost the curtain lottery and the shampoo lottery in one trip. Also didn't have shower amenities during a stay 2 weeks ago. The extra cost of this overpriced, dilapidated older property is not worth it. Next time I'll take my chances with motel 6.
