The town has a lot of good amenities and the people are very nice.

It’s our childhood hometown. We were shocked at the number of closed businesses and boarded up properties, and neglected infrastructure. Still excellent areas such as Krape Park.

This was a stop on our way home. We enjoy Mexican food so stopped at Amigos for a good Margarita & dinner!

Hotel was great but the town overall I did not feel the safest. I felt safe at the hotel though. I only know about the crime in Freeport because I live a few towns over.
